Why are we doing this?

After years of working in the insurance industry I found myself returning to the same frustration: in order to ensure my customers were continuously getting the best rates I had to frequently re-gather all of their personal documents. The result, I found, was that it was just too consuming on both ends to do consistently. I felt frustrated even as I quoted my own insurance and finally decided there had to be a more efficient solution to keep track of your insurance.

After looking at all the different solutions out there, I've been obsessed with the idea of solving this problem once and for all.

We first launched Kasa Insurance to help give customers a better insurance experience, something they never needed to worry about, while providing them the best coverage at the best price. We’re providing tooling that helps them monitor their rates, giving peace of mind, and saving our customers time and money, but as we started to dig deeper, it became clear that this was just the tip of the iceberg.

Managing a home is a full-time job all by itself. All the tasks that are necessary for home management can easily consume the entire day. And if you don’t have any systems in place, you’re probably overwhelmed with all of it.
